
While the physical location of Holiday Transitional Center is undergoing renovation, our outreach program is now feeding the homeless on Saturdays. This outreach will continue until the Center is opened. In addition to food, the Outreach program offers clothing and hygiene products, and information about area housing programs.
Holiday Transitional Center (HTC) will provide housing, food, clothing, personal supplies and those things needed to help women that are experiencing homelessness to take charge of their lives and obtain permanent homes.

Holiday Transitional Center is working with the Alabama Career Systems for employment and educational appointments. The women will obtain their GED free of charge from Bishop State Community College of Mobile, Alabama. The women will have the opportunity to earn a certificate in less than a year. For example, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education and Welding. Technology classes can be completed in 6 months or less.

Bishop State College offer a variety of Technology/Workforce Development programs that offer associate degrees and short certificated. The Alabama Career System will the women with resumes, interviewing techniques, appropriate dress code, and potential employers for a successful job search.
